alexis Jackson

I’m Alexis, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. Without noticing it, many of us experience emotions in our bodies. As a result, we can be overwhelmed with uncomfortable physical sensations and/or negative emotions in regard to ourselves, others and the world surrounding us. I practice Internal Family Systems (parts work), Emotion Focused Therapy, Art therapy, Mindfulness, and Self-love building practices as modes of therapy. I believe trauma is embedded in our physiological selves, as well as our mind and soul. It is important to know what causes our triggers and how to connect with our trauma to be able to heal and create a stronger and intuitive version of ourselves. I strive to be genuine, understanding, and kind with my clients.

In all, I believe therapy can provide closure and a sense of self empowerment from trauma you have endured. I look forward to guiding and supporting you through the therapeutic process as you pursue your goals for optimal mental health and well-being to live a healthy and uplifting life. Ultimately, I want you to be able to live with confidence that you have the power to write your own destiny, no matter your past.

Kiley Ellefson

As we travel through the mountain range of life, we experience many highs and lows. However, sometimes we can get stuck at the bottom of a mountain, left with a feeling of hopelessness and uncertainty. Oftentimes, all we need is a helping hand to begin that climb upward. I believe that providing a safe, secure environment to lend that hand will help anyone take those first steps toward healing, authenticity, and living a life that is fulfilling. I can help you build skills needed to overcome psychological barriers, heal past trauma, engage in the present moment, and live a life driven by your own personal values.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques along this journey of healing and learning, primarily acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I am also trained in the Gottman method and emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT) for those hoping to grow together.

With these modalities, I have seen lives soar to new heights. I know what it's like to feel stuck at the bottom of a mountain with no hope of ever seeing the top, but I also know the power of human resiliency. I believe that everyone has the ability to reach their peak and experience a life that is rich with meaning and wholeheartedness. Call or email today.

Deana Kirkendall

Life can seem overwhelming and even frightening at times. Our most important relationships and life issues trigger physical, emotional, and mental responses we do not understand and cannot seem to overcome by ourselves. So many of our struggles are exacerbated by a lack of skills and knowledge, which can be obtained through effective therapy. Together, we will build upon your strengths to help you effectively approach your challenges. We will clarify your goals together and get you on the path to healing and achieving them.

I am passionate about helping people discover and build upon their unique strengths and abilities through effective therapy. I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the gold standard for relational/marriage therapy. I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Parts and Memory, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I offer a judgment-free zone for people to come, be themselves, work through challenges, become who they want to be, transform their relationships, and discover their unique skills and strengths which will become the change they need and desire.

Sometimes life feels like it will be hard indefinitely, and it can be challenging to be vulnerable and share that experience with someone else. I recognize that, and I invite clients to therapy to allow me to share that experience with them.

I work hard to create and maintain a safe space for clients to be vulnerable and explore their emotions in a way that is empowering, supportive, and non-judgmental. Using a client-centered approach, I honor and value my clients and what they bring to the therapy room.

By Integrating Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Art therapy, my clients and I work towards finding a way to make their lives more comfortable.

Shakila m. Rodriquez

I do not believe that strength is or has to be solitary. I do not believe that you are weak or broken because you are considering therapy. I believe in collaboration, I show up in the therapy room ready to tackle the problems, pains, and conundrums, with you. I am a therapist who practices experiential, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral techniques.
We will explore and evolve how you learned to feel and perceive. We will do this while acknowledging the inherent strengths you hold and having patience for the parts of you that show up when facing challenges. You are a human being first and thus you feel, you hurt, you grow, you fight, and you don’t have to do it alone.
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Intern, I am ready to fight this fight with you. My experience includes working with consensual non monogamy, kink, sex and sexuality related concerns, and self exploration.
